Submitting to BJELL
All authors writing on topics related to employment or labor law are welcome to submit to the Journal. BJELL regularly publishes articles, essays, case notes, and book reviews. Manuscripts are accepted with the understanding that their content is original and unpublished. If any part of a paper has already been published, or is to be published elsewhere, please include this information at the time of submission.
Please submit articles electronically to or through the bepress ExpressO service. While we strongly encourage electronic submissions, you may address all editorial correspondence, including articles for submission and books for review, to:

Format and Citations
BJELL prefers submissions in Microsoft Word. Authors should send an abstract and a table of contents with their articles.
Articles should conform to The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation (19th Edition). Text and footnotes should be ragged-right (no right justification). Notes should be numbered consecutively and should appear in footnote style.
The Berkeley Journal of Employment & Labor Law follows the American Philosophical Association’s guidelines for non-sexist use of language.
