Abstract

Our organization, the Council on American Islamic Relations (“CAIR”), was founded in 1994 and is the largest civil rights organization defending Muslim victims of discrimination in the United States. This recent development piece discusses the case of EEOC v. Abercrombie & Fitch Stores from the perspective of our organization. Through this retelling, we seek to illuminate the impact of the case for Muslims in the United States and for the American workplace more generally.
